September is here….
a bit of decorating across the top.
I have a new knitting project, a sweater with short row shaping. There is now a knit knotes section of my main planner to keep me the right track.
Last weekend I scored a yarn cake of Fleece Artist Merino from my friend, Isobel who was having a destash sale.
It is a gorgeous colourway that will coordinate nicely with my Filofax Original.
I looked through my Ravelry favourites and the Easy as Pie shawl is calling of to me.
My second acquisition is this beautiful skein of Malabrigo Lace a colourway. I absolutely love it!
I also bought one more item to match my nails. …
Which will become a pair of socks.
I am a knitting Filofaxing fanatic … so I couldn’t resist knitting a cosy sleeve for my week old Filofax Original.
Since posting a photo of my Filofax FO (finished object) on Facebook and Instagram, I’ve had several requests for the pattern, which I named Colour Coordinates for the wide range of hues in the Filofax family and the coordinating colourways in yarn that you will find in two of my favourite LYS (local yarn shops), The Constant Knitter and This is Knit.
I used the purple hues in my yarn stash to knit a sleeve to protect it from the elements of my handbag.
Colour Coordinates is now available as a free pattern on Ravelry.
I would love to hear from you and what colour coordinate your chose for your Filofax.
