We are 10 days into 2016, and I have managed to attend two Zumba classes, two pilates classes, and a yoga class….
This year I plan to frequent museums and galleries to soak in a bit of art and art history.
Sculpture at the Crawford Art Gallery in Cork.
Last year I was using a pocket Filofax as my workbook however, I found it to be bulky and heavy in the pocket of my scrub suit.
I was planning to use the same Filofax set up, however, my impulse purchase of not one but three , Traveler Notebooks changed all that.
For 2016, I decided to set up the dark green ZLYC passport TN as my work / daily bullet journal due to the size and ease of slipping it into a patch pocket.
Last month, I downloaded, printed and punched 2016 month on one page intended for my pocket Filofax. As I did not want them to go unused, I trimmed them down and glued them into a passport sized TN insert.
Colouring books, pencil crayons, creative Filofaxing…. All paradise! I am determined to commit myself to #yearofmaking
Colouring is a great creative outlet for relaxation and reduce stress. I’m stocking with the purple theme to create a dashboard for my purple Filofax.
The pages in this book are double sided, so I continued with applying more colour on the reverse side of the page.
Then, to finish. … I brought out the laminator and made a reversible dashboard, marker, and paper clip holder.
The Filofax Original is starting to look a bit more colour co-ordinated
Happy New Year ! The first day of 2016 is here along with my passion for pen and paper. Here is a quick peek inside my main planner / organiser….
For 2016, my monthly diary is a two page layout. I am hoping to keep my handwriting on the smallish side in order to write in the squares neatly.
I’m sticking with the horizontal week on two pages. It worked well for me last year.
This Filofax has a get things done / to do section, in which I use undated week on two pages to list my tasks for the week.
I am looking forward to 2016 and my adventures of putting pen to paper….
